Where should I create directory GPSWatch/Data (SE K750i)?

If I connect my SE K750i to my PC using the USB cable and then use Explorer to look at the phone I see the following directories:

G:\DCIM
G:\MP3
G:\MSSEMC

I have tried creating G:\GPSWatch\data at the same level as these files, but nothing seems to be put into that directory after I have used GPSWatch. I have set "Cache Store" to "FileSystem".

Am I doing the right thing? Or should it be a sub-directory of G:\MSSEMC? Or is the cached data hidden?

Many thanks

Hi JP Coetzee, You created

Hi JP Coetzee,

You created the folder in the right level...it should be G:\GPSWatch\data

Did you try using Locate on Map feature using GPRS? If the maps got successfully downloaded, then when you move from one zoom level to another, you should have got a notification (security warning) about using your filesystem for writing files (apart from reading alert).

Thanks,

Ah it's the zooming that is

Ah it's the zooming that is the key to STORING the map - it's there now!

I have a related question about zooming - the default zoom is too small.

If I use "Locate on map" to observe my current location, the first map I see is most of Western Europe. It takes a lot of time - and expensive GPRS data - until I can zoom into the road level. It would be better the other way around, maximum zoom first of all.

How can I set the zoom to be maximum for the first map retrieval? I'm using Google Maps as my source.
