Motorola SLVR L7

Compatabilty issues

I have downloaded v2.2(demo) and have try the software with my Holux GPSlim 236. Result is as follow:-

Navigate = working
Direction Compass =Not working

i've tried with other software, and proof that its not the hardware problem.

Suggest you the follow:-
1.Allow user to change colour of the screen. I personally prefer simple green text to black sreen. The bright yellow/blue heat-up the lcd easily.

2. Signal strenght of satalite to be shown.

3. Show cooridinate in degree(with the small 0) minutes(') Second(")

Kindly advise if your "Platinum" version is compatible to Motorola L7.
I do not want to connect to expensive GPRS, but like some of the function of ths version, like "Configurable Sampling Rate thus the Precision" ,"Panning and Zooming in/out maps to 16 levels" & "Intelligently caches maps so that you will not have to download them again".

I've download several png file of diferent to the phone, the maximum png file I can view with motorola media viewer is 5kb. Could the problem lies with png file format with the phone?

In the trial version, only navigate report works, other are available only to GPSWatch customers. The trial just shows up a static view of how other reports would look (this is documented in our download section).

Point taken, we will implement this in our upcoming release, an option to set three colors, foreground, background and the text color.

Signal strength will be indicated by the intensity of the shading (green) of the satellite display in the "Satellite Report"

We already have this feature in the current release, the documentation available @ http://www.i10n.com/files/GPSWatch-UserGuide.pdf will give you a clear picture of how the reports work.

Motorola has locked the JSR75 api for thirdparty applications like GPSWatch which are typically unsigned. Thats the reason why the phone is unable to exploit the complete features. But we saw in an article @
http://www.deep-shadows.com/hax/ReadManiac/Manual/English/index.html?fsmotojsr75.htm that JSR75 api can be unlocked, so if its unlocked then you can enjoy all the features.

I'm sure that I've resolved the JSR75 api issue,as I'm able to export data.
Now I tried creating mapa png file of size 291kb.
I've also created a gv file with the same name.
I load both files into e:\GPSwatch\data (e=memory card) and it did not work.
Then I tried inserting both the file into the GPSWatch.jar, also change file size in GPSWatch.jad then reload the midlet. The map didnot show as well.

My *.gv file for 01d29'50.30"N, 103d37'07.00"E, 01d11'45.50"N, 104d01'43.90"E is as follow:-

01'29'50'30',103'37'07'00',01'11'45'50',104'01'43'90'

Could you kindly also include the function choosing map file as in the pro version for Platinum. This would be good for choosing file with different scale,ie:one worldmap & local

The platinum version does not support loading hand created maps as you see in the features page. We removed this feature as we felt it was quite complex for amateur users to create these map files. So for platinum version, you have to use the OMD tool.
