Motorola V360

Hello,

Is the Motorola V360 compatible with this software? According to http://www.motorola.com/motoinfo/product/details.jsp?globalObjectId=92, the V360 supports J2ME MIDP 2.0 CLDC 1.0, but your web site refers to CDLC1.1. Does this matter? If it does, are all versions of the software affected, or will some of them still work?

(I actually have a Vodafone V360v, not a Motorola, but I believe these phones are identical except for the firmware.)

I'm not sure how much this helps, but I have tested my phone with a GPS receiver and the trial version of your software, and it was able to show me a latitude and longitude but not an altitude. I'm not sure if this was the fault of the software or the GPS receiver. I'm also not sure if this indicates if there will be any problems with the other features of the software. Please tell me which of GPSWatch Lite, Pro and Platinum (if any) will work.

Thanks,
Just

Hi Just, This is

Hi Just,

This is interesting.

Actually if your phone doesnt support CLDC1.1, it cannot load this application. This application (trial, lite, pro n plat) make use of CLDC 1.1 APIs. So the only reasoning I could think of is your firmware should have undergone updatations from what is mentioned in the website so it seems to be supporting CLDC1.1

FPC Bench is a cool utility which tests your phone capabilities
