I am attempting to get the test application running on a Treo 700w running windows ME with the IBM J9 jvm installed. Using this combo I have been able to get other j2me based bluetooth gps communications working, however not the sample download gpswatch. The SE jad/jar comes the closet but the GPS connect does nothing - nothing changes.

Has anyone tried a phone running the IBM J9 virtual machine?

If I can't get it going, does the Developer SDK expose the source for the GPS connection, so I could splice a working one in?

Interested in the Windows ME phones, because they are one of the few in the US that you can get java apps on (other than Nextel / Boost motorola phones).
