Hi All,
I'm using GPSWatch on a SE K750i and whenever I try to record the track or just to use the compass, the K750i switches off the screen after some (one ?) minutes and activates a "sleep mode". Then the Bluetooth connection get's broken and recording or any other function is interrupted.
I have tried different firmwares for the phone (W800i, K750c / different versions) with no success and I only have been able to increase the activation time of the sleep mode timer slightly by patching the firmware.
My question is, if it could be possible to include an option in the GPSWatch software to avoid entering the "sleep mode" (= switching off the back-light first and bluetooth later) ?
The GPS software "Wayfinder Navigator" and some Java-Games are able to do that, so it would be fine if this could be added to GPSWatch, too.
Best Regards,
Uwe
H UWE, We actually have
H UWE,
We actually have couple of K750i phones in our development desk. The backlight goes off after a timeout but the bluetooth connection should not get disconnected. We use RICA021 firmware version on K750.
Meanwhile can you point us to the jars of the apps that you think are able to bypass the sleep more timeout.
Thanks,
Raddy
