In "Direction Compass" GPSWatch works out your average speed and uses it to fill in "To Reach Dst:"
When you go uphill, your speed drops considerably which means "To Reach Dst:" becomes inaccurate.
It would be good to be able to reset the average speed calculation on the fly.
This should not change the average speed used in the trip stats.

We meant that this is a specific case which not many would face. Adding a new button option will bring a menu indirection (like "more..." which will display all the buttons except the first one which will be displayed in one side). We were weighing to see if all users would be benefited on everyday use.
We are planning to completely change the UI by having custom menus overlayed on the screen, we would have this request implemented once we do that.
