I have a SonyEricsson W810i,
i dont disable avertissement in permission menu for access to filesystem, or memory stick.
So i push "ok" 3 times per zoom action !!
What do ?
Ohter thing, i dont have map in France with Google Map providers, why ?
Msn Virtual Earth works good...
and other... I could'nt view the item "option" in menu beside the map, with Platinium edition of course... I see just "Locate.." at right, and "back" at left...
for a lot of phones it isnt three "virtual buttons" on beside of screen.
But i am happy, realy...

By now i10n don't write a certificate for SE. We will get one, don't worry. They are always very quick and fast in replies.
I own a w800, it' the same for me. :-)
About the google map it is a deal about google map, not i10n. VirtualEarth it's exactly the same. By the way, if u don't want to use a gprs connection, you should begin to learn Map Downloader.
Option is not showed in mine too. Locate shows you your current position or a Selected waypoint.
P.S.: I am an end user. I don't reply for i10n, but we are on a Community, so. :-D

I dont understand Map Dowloader very good... Can i get all map of a contry in one operation ? I would have map of France.
I test this software for a french forum of GSM SonyEricsson... A little portion of people know GPS is possible by Java and Bluetooth. It's very less expensive that a PND for users we have modern celular phone !
